Asset and Liability Management (proposed)
Retail Banking Institute offers a world first with this Asset and Liability Management programme for retail bankers including general managers, heads of retail banking, product managers, retail credit managers, sales, distribution, and operations.
The few Asset and Liability Management programmes currently on offer are aimed at treasurers and corporate bankers. Retail Banking Institute offers a top level practical training programme to work through the major scenarios facing retail bankers in the Asset and Liability Committee – not to mention our current high interest rate environment. This is exciting, hands-on training where we work through several scenarios that arise in the case of rapid changes as a result of interest rate risk in the banking book. We introduce the tools needed to tackle the dynamics of asset and liability management, including behaviouralisation of funds, a critical skill in asset and liability management – and one that can be the difference between the success and failure of a bank.
We offer this new programme on Asset and Liability Management beginning on 11 October and running over three weeks, with a two-hour seminar each week beginning at 1400 GMT. The two subsequent seminars are on 18 and 27 October.
